Description
A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main objective would be to start the Dodge engine.
The alternator supplies power for the Dodge once the engine is running.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, and a total discharge can decrease the lifespan of the battery.
